Technical Instructors are enthusiastic, and energetic, and enjoy engaging with learners in a virtual setting. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to learn or upgrade your CAD skills, and effectively manage an online classroom and enhance your facilitation skills. Your training assignments will allow you to interact with a diverse set of PTC customers across various technical fields, including CAD and PLM and internal resources at PTC. Day-To-Day:</p><ul><li>Deliver virtual CREO (and Windchill) product training for PTC customers</li><li>Continuously enhance your technical knowledge by learning to teach courses in the course catalog</li><li>Collaborate virtually with other instructors and instructional designers to gain technical knowledge and facilitation skills</li><li>Demonstrate knowledge of the training curriculum by obtaining certifications and badges that you can share on your LinkedIn profile</li><li>Apply knowledge of Adult Learning Principles</li><li>Engage learners in a virtual setting using video, polling, open-ended questions, and more</li><li>Provide feedback on the training materials to your instructional design colleagues</li><li>This position requires up to 10% travel for team meetings</li></ul><p>Preferred Skills and Knowledge:</p><ul><li>Highly organized, action-oriented, and committed to driving quality results</li><li>Self-starter, able to keep up in a fast-paced environment and quickly learn and adapt to new processes and technologies</li><li>Experience teaching online using technology such as MS TEAMS and Virtual Machines</li><li>Effective prioritization, organization, and multi-tasking skills</li><li>Project management skills – proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills: the ability to influence others without formal authority</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively</li></ul><p>Required Experience:</p><ul><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS TEAMS)</li><li>Experience with Creo CAD tool and PLM (with Windchill experience preferred) in the role of drafter, engineer, or product designer  </li><li>Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in Chinese, fluent in English (Japanese preferred)</li><li>Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical, Aeronautic, preferred)</li><li>Location: remote (Shanghai, Beijing preferred)</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p style="text-align:left !important">Life at PTC is about more than working with today’s most cutting-edge technologies to transform the physical world.
