Near a Legence office location is preferred. </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: inter; font-size: 12pt;">Travel: Yes, occasional travel is required.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong><span style="font-family: inter;">Overview</span></strong></span><br><span style="font-family: inter; font-size: 12pt;">The Telecom Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and support of the enterprise voice and telecommunications environment. This role ensures reliable, secure, and cost-effective communication services across legacy and modern platforms, including POTS, Microsoft Teams Voice, SIP trunking, and cellular services.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong><span style="font-family: inter;">Key Responsibilities</span></strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: inter; font-size: 12pt;">Design, implement, and support enterprise voice solutions including Microsoft Teams Voice, Direct Routing, and Operator Connect.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: inter; font-size: 12pt;">Administer and maintain POTS lines for life-safety systems and regulatory requirements.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: inter; font-size: 12pt;">Manage SIP trunking services including call routing, failover, and quality optimization.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: inter; font-size: 12pt;">Support auto attendants, call queues, voicemail, E911, and number management.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: inter; font-size: 12pt;">Manage cellular services including provisioning, carrier plans, and lifecycle management.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: inter; font-size: 12pt;">Provide Tier 2/3 support and perform root-cause analysis for telecom issues.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: inter; font-size: 12pt;">Coordinate with carriers and vendors for service delivery and escalation.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: inter; font-size: 12pt;">Maintain documentation including call flows, inventories, and runbooks.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: inter; font-size: 12pt;">Ensure compliance with E911, Kari’s Law, and RAY BAUM’s Act.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong><span style="font-family: inter;">Required Qualifications</span></strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: inter; font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: inter; font-size: 12pt;">5+ years of enterprise telecom or voice engineering experience.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: inter; font-size: 12pt;">Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Voice.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: inter; font-size: 12pt;">Strong understanding of POTS, SIP, and PSTN connectivity.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: inter; font-size: 12pt;">Experience working with telecom carriers.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: inter; font-size: 12pt;">Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong><span style="font-family: inter;">Preferred Qualifications</span></strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: inter;
