In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of impactful training programs for medical education, sales and supporting the ENT portfolio. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Global and Regional Marketing, Medical Affairs. Together, you will ensure training initiatives are aligned with strategic priorities and business objectives.<br><br>The Manager, ENT International Training & Education, is responsible for defining and leading the international training and education strategy across internal commercial teams and medical education programs. In this role you provide strategic direction, people leadership, and operational oversight to ensure high-quality, scalable, and compliant education initiatives that support business growth, therapy adoption, and clinical excellence. You manage a team of four training and education professionals and partner closely with Global and Regional Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Events team and Leadership teams across international markets.<p></p><p><b>Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:</b></p><ul><li>Training & Education Strategy: Define and lead the international ENT training and education strategy aligned with business priorities and therapy objectives; translate strategic goals into scalable education programs across regions; ensure consistency, quality, and governance across all training initiatives; collect, analyse, and apply training feedback to assess effectiveness and continuously improve monitoring education.</li><li>Internal Commercial Training: Provide oversight of internal training programs including onboarding, product launches, and continuous capability development; partner with Marketing, Sales, and Commercial Excellence teams to align training with commercial execution; monitor and improve training effectiveness through defined success metrics.</li><li>Physician & Clinical Education: Lead the strategic direction of physician education programs including courses, workshops, and digital learning; collaborate with Medical Affairs to ensure clinical relevance and compliance; support education initiatives across the ENT surgeon career journey.</li><li>People Leadership: Directly manage and develop a team of four Training & Education professionals; set objectives, manage performance, support professional development, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Operational & Logistics Oversight: Provide senior oversight of training operations and logistics including planning, execution, and post‑event evaluation; establish standards, processes, and governance to support efficient training delivery at scale.</li><li>Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage external vendors and coordinate with internal stakeholders where required to support training delivery.</li><li>Budget, Governance & Compliance: Own training budgets and ensure responsible financial management; track KPIs to assess impact, efficiency, and return on investment; ensure compliance standards adhered.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Knowledge and Experience:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree with an advanced degree preferred; fluency in English required with additional languages preferred and able to travel approximately 30%.</li><li>Extensive experience in training, education, marketing, or commercial roles, preferably within medical devices or healthcare; knowledge of ENT technologies valued, ideally supported by prior experience in the commercial sale and/or practical clinical use of these technologies.</li><li>Demonstrated people‑management experience leading high‑performing teams and developing experienced professionals and future leaders.</li><li>Experience working in international, cross‑regional environments and influencing across functions and regions without direct authority.</li><li>Strong understanding of internal commercial training and physician education with a proven ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.</li><li>Operates with significant autonomy and strategic accountability; owns outcomes for a critical functional area with measurable business impact; demonstrates strong communication, influencing, and <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">stakeholder‑management</span> skills.</li></ul><p> </p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Physical Job Requirements</b><br><br>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. </p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p> </p><p> </p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h1><b>Benefits & Compensation</b></h1><p style="text-align:left"><b>Medtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits Package</b><br>A commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values.
