With 60 senior consultants and a fully remote model, the firm has built a strong reputation for delivering programmes that combine strategic clarity with practical execution and commands a premium day rate across the market. The business is growing and looking to add experienced Transformation Directors to its senior delivery team.<br></p><h2>The Role</h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">As Transformation Director, you will lead end-to-end transformation programmes for the firm's clients, from initial diagnostic and programme design through to delivery leadership, stakeholder management, and benefit realisation. You will be client-facing, commercially engaged, and responsible for the quality and impact of everything that goes out under your name.<br></p><h2>What You'll Do</h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Lead large-scale transformation programmes, operating model redesign, post-merger integration, cost reduction, and digital transformation across a portfolio of clients.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own client relationships at the C-suite and Board level, acting as a trusted senior advisor throughout the engagement.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Design and oversee the delivery of structured programme plans, ensuring pace, rigour, and clear accountability at every stage.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Manage and develop junior team members on engagements, building the firm's reputation for talent development alongside delivery excellence.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Contribute to business development, supporting proposals, client expansion, and the firm's thought leadership agenda.<br></p></li></ul><h2>What We're Looking For</h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">12–18 years of experience in management consulting or a senior in-house transformation role, with a track record of leading complex, multi-workstream programmes to successful outcomes.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Deep expertise in at least one transformation discipline, operating model design, post-merger integration, cost transformation, or digital change.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Exceptional client management skills, able to manage challenging stakeholders and maintain programme momentum in difficult circumstances.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Comfortable working independently in a remote, senior-only environment.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Sector breadth is valued; experience in financial services, consumer, or PE-backed businesses is particularly relevant.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2>Compensation & Benefits</h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Base salary of £130,000 – £165,000, reflecting the seniority of the role.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Annual bonus tied to utilisation and client outcomes.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Profit participation scheme as the firm grows.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">100% remote - work from anywhere in the UK, with client site visits as required.</p></li></ul><h2><br>How to Apply</h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">To be considered for this role, please create your profile at <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://getnextstep.com/candidate/landing?utm_medium=job-board&utm_source=job-board"><strong>getnextstep.com</strong></a>.
