Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer a travel opportunity for an MRI Technologist in White Plains, NY. This assignment consists of 8-hour day shifts per week, totaling 40 hours, with a competitive hourly pay range of $48.90 to $73.36.

Key Responsibilities

As an MRI Technologist you will:

  • Performs routine and some special procedure imaging.
  • Prepares patient for procedures. Assists radiologists when needed.
  • Prepares, operates and cares for the equipment being used.
  • Adheres to established standards of care.
  • Pursues appropriate continuing education.
  • Assumes responsibility for assigned area and duties.
  • Adheres to established customer service programs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, such as quality assurance.
  • Exercises professional judgments in performance of procedures.
  • Provide patient care.

Schedule Details:

Day Shift:

Monday/Wednesday (11am to 7pm) and Saturday/Sunday (8am to 4pm)

8-hour shift

30 minute lunch

Full-time, permanent placement.

Qualifications:

  • Must graduate from an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program. Technologist must be certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT), ARMRIT become ARRT MR certified within 1 year of hire date.
  • Continuing education requirements need to be upheld to meet the standards set forth by governing bodies. Current standards are 24 ECE credits over a two-year period depending on year of birth.
  • BLS certification through the (AHA) American Heart Association is required or must be completed with 90 days of hire.
  • IV certification preferred or by completion of 6-months' orientation.
  • MRI safety certification level 2 required yearly.
