We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join the outpatient rehabilitation team at a full-service rehabilitation facility in Sierra Vista, Arizona. In this full-time permanent role, you will deliver evidence-based physical therapy services to a diverse outpatient caseload, working within a collaborative interdisciplinary environment focused on restoring function, reducing pain, and returning patients to their highest level of independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop individualised physical therapy care plans
  • Deliver skilled PT interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and functional mobility training
  • Administer physical agents including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, moist heat/cold therapy as clinically indicated
  • Evaluate, fit, and recommend assistive and adaptive devices as appropriate
  • Direct and supervise PTAs, rehab aides, and students as assigned
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately per facility and payer requirements
  • Maintain productivity standards and ensure billing compliance
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to optimise patient outcomes and support safe discharge planning
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy programme Bachelor's, Master's, or DPT
  • Current Physical Therapy licence in the State of Arizona (or eligibility for licensure by endorsement)
  • CPR/BLS certification current
  • Minimum 1 year of outpatient PT clinical experience preferred new graduates with strong clinical foundations welcome to apply
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to manage a caseload across multiple payer types
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, or sports rehabilitation
  • Familiarity with EMR documentation systems in an outpatient setting
