Amex GBT Consulting focuses on business and operational strategy, strategic sourcing and program optimization to help our clients manage their travel spend. You’ll work across our diverse and specialized categories that includes: Policy, Change Management & Compliance, Travel Program Management, Business Intelligence, Travel Category Management, Sustainability & ESG, and Cost Management. What You’ll Do: Serve as central hub for traveler operations, escalations, and program inquiries Drive strategic change management and employee education on travel policies and tools Implement and optimize new travel tools and processes Collaborate with TMC to monitor performance targets and support commodity management (air, car, hotel) Act as liaison between online support team and client configurations for booking platforms Administer and enhance user experiences within booking tools Develop comprehensive travel reporting and conduct deep-dive data analyses Monitor compliance, identify trends, and perform benchmarking exercises Research and resolve complex travel challenges with urgency using analytical and creative approaches Maintain exceptional time management, prioritization, and transparent stakeholder communication What We’re Looking For: Proven track record of success in technical customer support, business travel services or related field (3-5 years preferred) Exceptional client/customer management skills Analytically minded, understands data with ease and is comfortable in its manipulation to draw insights and conclusions Growth mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities Advanced communication skills (written and verbal), proficient in Microsoft product suite and digital collaboration tools (i.e., Zoom, MS Teams and/or Slack) Technical proficiency with corporate travel-related technologies and/or experience learning and supporting corporate SaaS applications Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities Creative mindset—balancing program maintenance with identifying efficiency opportunities Adaptability and self-motivation Global perspective (international experience a plus) Location United States Location United States The US national base salary range for this position is from $60,200.00 - $111,800.00 The national range provided includes the base salary that Amex GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
