Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clinics and support existing clinics in your territory.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with existing and new clinics, ensuring their needs are met and targets are achieved.
  • Prioritise each clinic and create tailored customer plans to meet their specific needs, including training and education, appropriate product ranging and pricing, and a strong in-clinic activation plan.
  • Implement, follow up, and update customer plans to ensure continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop an education and training plan for Pro Plan Veterinary Diets, Supplements & Purina products within your territory.
  • Coordinate the development of an aligned TTS (Training, Tools, and Support) strategy to support priority initiatives.
  • Collaborate with peers to share best practices and learnings.
  • Ensure adherence to all company principles and policies.

Requirements

  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong leadership and team working skills
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the veterinary, animal health or pharmacy industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory as required.
  • Full Australian working rights
