Technology serves as the firm’s senior-most technology leader, accountable for shaping and executing a bold, mission-aligned technology strategy for a 120-person organization. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role drives digital transformation, champions innovation and AI adoption, and oversees enterprise systems, data governance, cybersecurity, and IT operations.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Technology Strategy, Vision & Innovation Leadership</strong></p> <ul> <li style="list-style-type: revert;">Design and lead implementation of a forward-thinking technology strategy that aligns with the organization’s mission and long-term goals.</li> <li style="list-style-type: revert;">Champion a culture of innovation by identifying and piloting emerging technologies—including AI, machine learning, and automation—to enhance internal operations and client services.</li> <li style="list-style-type: revert;">Serve as a visible technology leader across the organization, engaging with teams to understand their needs and championing technology solutions that enhance their work.</li> <li style="list-style-type: revert;">Serve as a strategic partner to the management team, translating organizational needs and client service offerings into transformative technology initiatives.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Digital Strategy Execution</strong></p> <ul> <li style="list-style-type: revert;">Evaluate and optimize the organization’s technology ecosystem to improve scalability, interoperability, and operational efficiency across departments.</li> <li style="list-style-type: revert;">Assess and rationalize the existing tech stack to reduce redundancy and support long-term operational growth.</li> <li style="list-style-type: revert;">Lead efforts to ensure successful adoption of enterprise platforms through thoughtful change management, training, and documentation.</li> <li style="list-style-type: revert;">Lead digital transformation initiatives that modernize workflows, improve collaboration, and elevate client engagement and service offerings in alignment with the organization’s impact-driven mission.</li> <li style="list-style-type: revert;">Establish IT governance frameworks and policies that support agility, innovation, and responsible technology adoption.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Secure IT Operations, Risk Management & Vendor Ecosystem Management</strong></p> <ul> <li style="list-style-type: revert;">Oversee optimization and integration of enterprise platforms and other core systems in close collaboration with the MSP.</li> <li style="list-style-type: revert;">Ensure the MSP delivers high-quality, secure, and scalable IT services, including infrastructure management, helpdesk support, and cybersecurity monitoring.</li> <li style="list-style-type: revert;">Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and client specific security requirements.</li> <li style="list-style-type: revert;">Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring strategic investments in innovation, AI, and digital capabilities deliver measurable value.</li> <li style="list-style-type: revert;">Lead procurement and vendor management, including sourcing and negotiating with technology partners that offer cutting-edge, scalable, and mission-aligned solutions</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What You'll Need</strong></p> <ul> <li style="list-style-type: revert;"> 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in technology leadership, including 5+<br>years in a senior role (e.g., Director, VP, or equivalent).</li> <li style="list-style-type: revert;">Proven ability to develop and execute technology strategies that drive innovation, align with<br>business goals, and transform service offerings.</li> <li style="list-style-type: revert;">Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management capabilities, with the<br>ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.</li> <li style="list-style-type: revert;">Strong experience managing outsourced IT services or MSPs, including contract negotiation,<br>vendor performance, and service delivery oversight.</li> <li style="list-style-type: revert;">Demonstrated expertise in data governance, analytics, and AI/ML tools to support decision-<br>making and impact measurement.</li> <li style="list-style-type: revert;">Proven financial acumen, including managing technology budgets, evaluating ROI, and<br>leading procurement and vendor management.</li> <li style="list-style-type: revert;">Deep commitment to social impact and strong alignment with the organization’s mission and<br>values.</li> <li style="list-style-type: contribution in terms of previous experience and expertise against current Third Plateau employees.
