Our friendly and knowledgeable staff teams provide support throughout our many specialty departments and centers, from primary visits to emergency care. </strong></p> <p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p> <p>The<strong> Physical Therapist Assistant </strong>specializing in<strong> Acute Care:</strong></p> <p>- Works under the supervision of the Team Coordinator and/or Clinical Specialist, and leadership of the Rehab Therapy Services Team Leader, Supervisor and/or Inpatient or Outpatient Manager </p> <p>- Implements a treatment program as established by a licensed PT which is designed to return patients to their maximum level of function</p> <p>- Works collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary health care team to maximize patient and team outcomes</p> <p>- Prompts improvement of service, department and hospital systems to benefit patient care</p> <p>- Incorporates and operationalizes the goals and objectives of the organization</p> <p><strong>Education:</strong></p> <p>Completion of an Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program </p> <p><strong>Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.</strong></p> <p>Licensure from State of Maryland, Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.</p> <p>Current AHA Healthcare Provider Certification.</p> <p><strong>Shift: Full-time 40 hours per week - 8:00 - 4:30 p.m. - Some weekends and Holidays</strong></p> <p><strong>Work Experience:</strong></p> <p>Successful completion of clinical internships as required by academic program.</p> <p><strong>Salary Range:</strong> Minimum $26.58/hour - Maximum $43.89/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
