About the role

The Vice President of Sales is responsible for driving enterprise-level membership and revenue growth through direct sales execution in the self-funded healthcare market. This role operates as a senior individual contributor, owning complex, high-value opportunities and serving as a trusted advisor to executive buyers, consultants, and strategic partners. The VP of Sales brings deep market expertise, strong executive presence, and disciplined sales execution to deliver consistent, predictable results without direct people management responsibilities.

Location: This position may work remotely anywhere in the United States of America with significant business travel to and from prospect/client sites and/or the Quantum Health home office in Dublin, OH.

What you’ll do (Essential Responsibilities)

Enterprise Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Drive revenue and membership growth by developing and executing a comprehensive territory and account strategy aligned with Quantum Health’s go-to-market priorities.
  • Consultatively identify prospective client challenges and design tailored, high-impact value propositions for HR, Finance, and C-suite buyers based on Quantum Health’s differentiated capabilities.
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial engagement through close, including pricing strategy, negotiation, and contracting.
  • Position Quantum Health effectively against competitors by demonstrating deep knowledge of the value proposition, industry trends, and evolving healthcare market dynamics.
  • Maintain rigorous opportunity management, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline hygiene in Salesforce to support predictable performance and leadership visibility.

Consultant, Partner & Ecosystem Engagement

  • Work closely with consultant relationship and payer teams to build and maintain strong relationships with regional and national benefits consultants, brokers, and other influencers to generate and advance pipeline.
  • Partner with consultants to align and manage RFP processes, finalist presentations, and overall sales strategy with prospective employer clients.
  • Collaborate with external partners such as claims administrators, point solutions, and other ecosystem stakeholders to advance opportunities and support deal execution.
  • Serve as a senior market representative for Quantum Health, strengthening brand credibility and trust across the employer and consultant community.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring (Qualifications)

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive sales experience in healthcare, insurance, or employee benefits-related industries
  • Demonstrated success as a senior individual contributor selling complex, enterprise solutions
  • Deep understanding of the self-funded employer healthcare market
  • Strong knowledge of AI and its impact on healthcare, sales strategy, and member experience
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving new business growth
  • Demonstrated ability to independently create and advance new meeting and pipeline opportunities
  • Exceptional executive presence with strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to forecast accurately and manage long, complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms such as Salesforce
  • Ability to travel extensively within territory (20–45%)
