And, with a pipeline representing over 25% of insured Americans, we are in the early stages of improving care quality for all patients across the globe.</p></div><h3><strong>About the role<br></strong></h3> <p>As Vice President of Population Health, you will lead and scale Covera’s Protect Seniors program, a core pillar of the company’s AI-driven quality platform. This role sits at the intersection of Customer Success and Operations - owning the performance and growth of a proven population health model while serving as the primary relationship owner for our health plan and PCP partners. You will partner closely with the Executive Leadership Team to drive strategy, execution, and outcomes, operating at the center of Covera’s ecosystem across payers, providers, and radiology partners to deliver measurable clinical and financial impact at scale. This is a highly visible, cross-functional leadership requiring someone who combines deep Medicare Advantage fluency with the operational rigor and relationship building that it takes for driving growth, operational excellence, and long-term customer success.</p> <h3>In this role, you will be expected to:</h3> <ul> <li>Own end-to-end performance of the Population Health (“Protect Seniors”) value chain, from data intake through gap identification, partner engagement, gap closure, and outcome validation</li> <li>Build and manage relationships with Customer executive sponsors, align on strategic objectives, manage expectations, and ensure overall satisfaction with the Population Health program</li> <li>Partner closely with the Growth/Commercial team to align go-to-market strategy with execution capabilities on a market-by-market basis, ensuring deals are structured for successful delivery and long-term customer outcomes</li> <li>Drive adoption of Population Health across the market by engaging ACOs PCP groups and radiology facilities to drive adoption and engagement with our programs</li> <li>Steer the Executive Leadership Team in defining and executing the Population Health strategy, aligning departmental priorities and driving coordinated action across the organization to achieve optimal business outcomes</li> <li>Serve as the primary point person for primary care provider partners in the market - driving meaningful engagement with clinical findings, building trust with PCP leadership, and ensuring providers are active participants in the program</li> <li>Own implementation and deployment of Population Health programs, driving pilot success and ensuring conversion into long-term, scaled partnerships with provider organizations</li> <li>Work deeply with a cross-functional internal team to plan and execute on Population Health priorities across product, tech, AI and analytics/reporting, readying the organization for scale </li> <li>Establish KPIs for Population Health program success both internally and externally and work closely with the analytics team to measure and track on-going performance</li> <li>Build and maintain high-trust relationships with key accounts through proactive in-person engagement to demonstrate Covera’s commitment and deepen long-term partnerships</li> <li>Play an active role in further building the Covera team by joining interview panels and contributing to cross-company projects after onboarding</li> </ul> <h3>Special Considerations: </h3> <p>This is a quota carrying position. The target total compensation for this role is base salary plus a sales bonus achieved through hitting sales targets. </p> <p>Although we are a remote-first company, this role involves approximately 50% travel to meet with prospects and partners in-market, as well as to attend select industry events.</p> <h3><strong>Requirements:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>10+ years healthcare experience, with some combination of healthtech start-up, consulting and/or enterprise healthcare (payor, provider) background </li> <li>Deep Medicare Advantage experience, including strong understanding of value-based care and risk sharing arrangements between payors and providers</li> <li>Proven track record collaborating with payors, providers, or both on high-priority, high-visibility initiatives</li> <li>Background in customer success, account management, or population health operations - with a track record of retaining and growing complex, multi-stakeholder accounts</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change across teams at all levels of an organization, aligning resources and work efforts with business goals </li> <li>Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey complex topics simply and clearly </li> <li>Unique combination of healthcare strategic thinking with execution orientation to drive impact</li> <li>Humble, thoughtful leader with a high EQ and proven ability to build trust and collaborate with a wide range of colleagues and business partners</li> <li>Comfortable operating in a startup environment without established infrastructure - bringing real ownership and an individual contributor mindset, proactively identifying problems and running toward solutions rather than waiting to be directed</li> <li>Experience engaging directly with primary care physicians and PCP leadership with a demonstrated ability to build trust, drive clinical buy-in, and convert provider engagement into measurable outcomes</li> </ul> <h3>AI at Covera</h3> <p>At Covera Health, AI is not a novelty. Final compensation decisions may occasionally fall outside of the posted range.
