Job Summary:
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, inventory management, procurement, and coordination of equipment, materials, and personnel to support field crews. This role ensures timely sourcing of parts, efficient workflow between departments, and operational readiness of tools, vehicles, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Maintain and track inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
- Conduct regular inventory counts and restock as needed
- Keep warehouse and shop areas organized, clean, and secure
- Inspect returned equipment and vehicles for condition and readiness
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Source and order parts, including hard-to-find or discontinued items
- Obtain and evaluate vendor quotes based on cost, availability, and timelines
- Create and process purchase orders (POs) and related documentation
- Coordinate purchasing and payments with accounting
- Manage vendor relationships, repairs, warranties, and service requests
Operations & Coordination
- Create and manage work orders for crews and equipment usage
- Coordinate scheduling for equipment delivery, repairs, and job site needs
- Dispatch equipment, materials, and personnel as required
- Arrange transportation of tools, bins, trailers, and construction equipment
- Respond to urgent or emergency operational needs
