Würth Baer Supply Company is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to lead our distribution operation at our branch in Omaha, NE . Schedule & Compensation Monday-Friday typically 8 to 10-hour days with availability from approximately 7:00am to 5:00pm CT $55k to $65k starting salary range based on experience Location: 5620 South 85th Circle Omaha, NE Direct Reports: Warehouse Associates (1), CDL Drivers (1) Material Handling Vehicles: Sit-Down Propane Forklift – Proficiency is a must Primary Goods at this Facility: Plywood, panel products, laminate goods, cabinetry accessories, abrasive goods, hands/power tools, fasteners, etc. Hands‑On Position: This is a hands‑on leadership role, requiring active participation in daily warehouse operations. This role requires leading by example and working alongside this small team to maximize productivity and accuracy. Responsibilities Position Responsibilities as a Warehouse Supervisor, you are responsible for the execution of all the daily activities required to run a highly effective distribution warehouse. This includes: Managing day-to-day operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, and packing outbound orders. Ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and maintaining all company delivery trucks in compliance. Following and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for daily warehouse operations. Utilizing SAP for inventory management, tracking, and warehouse operations. Weekly benchmarking to ensure operational efficiency. Effective communication with sales representatives and customer service teams to address and resolve customer inquiries. Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse in accordance with safety and operational guidelines. Using performance metrics and reports to monitor, measure, and improve warehouse efficiency. Planning daily workloads to ensure all customer orders received by 3:00 PM are 100 % shipped the same day or per customer delivery schedules. Minimizing picking and shipping errors while aiming for a “zero defects” policy. Fostering a customer‑focused warehouse environment with high service standards. Inventory management: Ensuring 98 % or greater inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts and tracking. Regularly communicating with Sales Managers regarding any customer service concerns or operational issues. Supervising and coaching warehouse staff, including conducting annual performance reviews and quarterly one‑on‑one meetings. Implementing and maintaining warehouse safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA, DOT, and HAZMAT regulations. Providing employee training for forklift operation, hazardous materials handling, and warehouse safety protocols. Ensuring proper routing of company trucks to meet delivery schedules efficiently and cost‑effectively. Experience scheduling facility maintenance such as general repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc., and negotiating rates is preferred. Experience interacting with OSHA and other fire safety inspection officials as needed is preferred. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of warehouse leadership experience. Excellent tenure at previous employers. SAP experience is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to operate a forklift and successfully pass Würth Baer Supply’s forklift certification program. Ability to complete and train others on Hazardous Material Certification as required by CFR 49, Sections 100‑185.
