Position Summary

Tampa Family Health Centers is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner to join our growing OB/GYN team in a 100% outpatient setting.

This role is focused exclusively on ambulatory women’s health services with no deliveries, no operating room responsibilities, and no inpatient rounding. You will practice in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with strong clinical and operational support.

Schedule Highlights

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

No nights

No weekends

No holidays (seven paid holidays)

100% outpatient practice

Essential Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered care including well-woman visits, acute visits, and family planning services

Deliver evidence-based outpatient obstetrical care

Perform in-office gynecologic procedures including LARC insertion/removal, colposcopy, biopsies, and menopausal care

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record

Complete billing and close clinical tasks in accordance with organizational policy

Make appropriate referrals for diagnostic testing, treatment, and follow-up care

Provide clinical support and oversight to nursing staff and medical assistants in collaboration with Women’s Health leadership

Participate in peer review, accreditation readiness, and quality improvement initiatives

Support teaching and supervision of students, residents, or allied health professionals as assigned

Coordinate clinical operations and collaborate closely with Women’s Health providers and support staff

May rotate across multiple clinic locations and participate in after-hours call coverage if assigned

Qualifications

Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Active and unrestricted Florida APRN license

National certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Adult-Gerontology NP with women’s health experience

Current BLS certification

Minimum 2–3+ years of outpatient OB/GYN or Women’s Health experience required

Strong procedural experience preferred

Experience with Epic or similar EMR preferred

Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required

Qualifying Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners may receive:

Up to $75,000 in student loan repayment for an initial two-year full-time service commitment

Additional loan repayment opportunities for extended service commitments

NHSC loan repayment is in addition to base salary, productivity incentives, and TFHC benefits, making this role a strong long-term financial opportunity.
