Work on a Movie in Miami

m00m world OPEN CALL, Animated Film — MIAMI, FL

We're hiring for a type of role in the film and animation/visual effects industry that is brand new. This role title doesn't exist yet. You'd be one of the first people doing it.

We are making a full-length animated feature film. Not with a pipeline you've ever seen or software you've ever used. We built our own systems, we harness AI, and we're seeking relentless, brave creators ready to learn the tools of the future.

This is a ground-floor invitation to join a team building futuristic pipelines and disrupting Hollywood.

What we're looking for:

You are a bright individual based in Miami Florida who doesn't know the word "impossible." At some point in your life you said to yourself: one day I want to make a movie.

You understand cinema. Not just movies. Cinema. You watch something and think "that was a great shot," and you know why. You understand what draws emotion on a screen, what makes something funny, sad, inspiring.

You're comfortable in Photoshop. Not a master, just fluent.

You know your way around a Mac and consider yourself pretty good with computers.

You're obsessed with making things that are cool and excellent. Not good. Excellent.

You don't fold under pressure, ambiguity, or a blank canvas. You see that as the proving ground.

You are comfortable to be in the room collaborating directly with the writer, director and editor, contributing to a vision that's truly new.

When you join a team, you're not just showing up for work. You're part of why it succeeds.

What this is NOT:

This is not a traditional animation role. We're not specifically looking for traditional animators, though if you are one, that knowledge will be super powerful here. Same goes for video editors. There is no required demo reel, no degree requirement, no experience-in-X-software requirement.

The tool is ours. We'll show you how.

What this IS:

A passionate small team forming the future of animation. An animated film, made in Miami, from scratch. A moment that when we succeed will be remembered. An intense undertaking to accomplish something impressive.

If you felt something reading this, that's the filter.

Send a note telling us who you are, what your favorite movie is, what software skills you bring, and what "excellent" means to you. No templates. No formalities. Just the real you.

BE SURE TO SAY THE WORDS “F8 27-A” somewhere in your application/message or your application will be automatically rejected.

The frontier is open. The future is here.

Pay: $22.52 - $32.00 per hour
